Battered, Not Broken is one of a series of animated spoken word pieces excerpted from Jet Widick’s poetry books Sage Words and Sage Spirit.
These vector assets were hand-lettered and originally designed for print, but took on a new life as I put them in motion using rhythmic timing, eases and sound. Notice the follow through on the animation for gentle appeal.
